Riverside Community College District received a Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, USA Study Abroad’s Increase and Diversify Education Abroad for US Students (IDEAS) Program grant. With the support of the IDEAS grant, RCCD plans to expand its study abroad program, including adding pathways for low-income and career and technical education students to participate in international experiences. Monies will also be used to pilot a short-term study abroad course in Japan with the option of an in-person or virtual internship component.
