MLK and Chavez Events Bring the Community Together to Support Scholarships

MLK and Chavez student scholarships

The Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Scholarship Ceremony marked its 10th anniversary in 2023. The event celebrates the achievement, social justice, and community. The Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Scholarship Ceremony has provided thousands of dollars in student scholarships. Meanwhile, the Dolores Huerta and César E. Chávez Scholarship breakfast event, which began in 2014, was developed to honor the legacy and work of Dolores Huerta and César E. Chávez. Through a high school essay and collegiate art competition students earn scholarship funds.
