Norco College received a donation of $62,000 for an endowed scholarship from the late Roberta Hamersma. A Norco resident, Norco High School graduate, and Riverside City College alumna, Hamersma valued education and the transformative impact of scholarships.

Hamersma, who worked at Jurupa Unified School District since 1990, left 5 percent of her trust to establish an endowed scholarship at the College. The scholarship will provide ongoing support to students pursuing academic goals at Norco College, reinforcing the institution's commitment to fostering excellence in education.
